Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty can be performed for both medical and cosmetic reasons. You might be struggling to breathe freely through your nose, or are simply unhappy with the shape of it. There are both surgical and non-surgical techniques that can address these issues, but at Skin Matters by Colette, we focus solely on non-surgical rhinoplasty. This involves using dermal filler to straighten the nose, and can be preferable to surgical treatments due to reduced recovery times, costs and invasiveness.

Results can be expected to last from 9 to 18 months, and can be “topped up” at the point they begin to wear off. The speed, precision and affordability of treatment makes this an ideal alternative for those who for one reason or another, are perturbed by the surgical option.

How long does it take to recover from non-surgical rhinoplasty?

Typically, just 24 hours. But there is a chance you may experience a degree of bruising or swelling.

What happens if I’m unhappy with the results?

Dermal fillers are reversible, and if you find yourself regretting the procedure, we can simply dissolve them. This is in stark contrast to surgical procedures, where wanting to restore your previous look could involve going under the knife once more, with limited results and eye watering additional costs.

What are dermal fillers made out of?

Hyaluronic acid, which is a sugar occurring naturally within the body, tasked with maintaining proper moisture levels in the epidermis.
