Brow Lift

An arched brow can offer a sharp and seductive look which channels the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. But surgical eyebrow lifts are known to be intrusive, expensive and semi-permanent, with results lasting well over a decade. So if you end up being unhappy with your new look, things get a little complicated. Non-surgical brow lifts, accomplished through the careful administration of Colette, our highly trained aesthetician, can provide fantastic, temporary results that make the brow lift ideal for anyone interested in an easy, affordable way to enhance their look.

At Skin Matters by Colette, we can inject a small amount of botulinum toxin, the active component in Botox and Azzalure, into specific parts of the forehead. This rebalances the forehead muscles to lift the brow, with results dependent on the amount of units of botulinum toxin employed, as well as the particular site of administration. This allows us to tailor the treatment to each individual client, from those who want just the subtlest of lifts, to others who want something that represents a significant transformation – a bit of “wow factor”.

Whatever your approach, the end result is a more youthful look that counteracts the effects of aging, such as the loss of elasticity in the skin and a sagging brow. A non-surgical brow lift can also smooth forehead wrinkles and create the appearance of being more awake. So if you’ve noticed that, despite your best efforts, you often sport an angry, tired or aged expression even when well-rested and feeling in good shape, consider how a brow lift at our Surrey clinic could make all the difference.

How is botulinum toxin made?

Botulinum toxin is made from bacteria called Clostridium botulinum. As well as being used in cosmetic procedures, it is used to treat medical issues such as spasms, migraines and excessive sweating.

How is botulinum toxin effective?

It functions by interfering with nerve signals that cause muscles to contract, effectively relaxing them.

How long will it take to fully recover?

That’s the beautiful thing – there is no recovery time, just a very slim chance you might experience minor bruising.

What if I’m unhappy with the results?

It’s temporary, with results lasting between three and four months. So if your new look isn’t what you’re after, it’s certainly not the end of the world.
